How to Make Extra Portion in Window 8 Without Formatting It

Some time your PC have only 2 or 3 Portion of your total hard disk drive and need a extra portion of your hard disk but for this work you need to total format your PC as a result of this you lost all your data that is installed in your PC.

Today i will show you How to make Extra Portion of Hard Disk Without Formatting the PC in Windows 8 :-

Step 1 :- Open Run Tab OR Press Windows + R Keys.

Step 2 :- Type compmgmt.msc and Press Enter.

Step 3 :- A New Windows Open Name Computer Management. Chose Disk Management Option ( as mention Below in Picture).

Step 4 :- Right Click On any disk (that is enough free Space) and Chose Shrink Volume.

Step 5 :-  Than Put the desired Value in MB from free Space that you want to make New Portion. (as mention below in picture )

Step 6 :- After Putting Value Press Shrink Button and you see that a new portion is available with unallocated title. (as mention in Picture)

Step 7 :- Press Right Click on Unallocated tab and Chose New Simple Volume Option.

Step 8 :- Follow the Steps (just pressing next) and your Portion is Ready.
